- This opportunity allows Canadian Universities and Colleges to operate a ‘rep’ office in key cities in India.
- The first two offices will open in New Delhi at the World Trade Centre and in the hub of Ahmadabad’s business community followed by Mumbai (location to be announced shortly).
- The offices can accommodate up to 5 Universities/Colleges for $1000 (+utilities & applicable taxes) monthly per institution and includes administrative support at NO charge. NO hidden expenses, NO agent commissions and NO membership dues.
- The ‘rep’ offices can be used for recruiting, student interviews, maintaining alumni relations, fundraising and/or conducting research partnership development.
- Logistical support and guidance provided, as required and requested.

- Distribute brochures and/otherwise influence students to make well informed decisions. Maintain presence in India’s prime location(s), establish credibility and get involved in the local market.
- ‘Renting’ instead of buying: Understand the dynamics of the local market before making long term commitments.
- ICE has secured strategic partners in New Delhi and Ahmedabad who shall provide fully furnished and functional office spaces within key locations in their respective cities. They will also assist with local business requirements & permits, as needed.
- The longer the lease, the more ‘permanence’ is demonstrated to potential students and/or other stake holders. There are no restrictions on the term of the lease. Typically, 11-36 months is the norm in India.
- There is no deadline to sign the agreement. The offices will be available as of September 1, 2009. However space is restricted to 5 institutions in order to limit redundancy of similar program offerings.
