 Canada-India Business Council
(C-IBC):
The Canada-India Business Council (C-IBC), established in 1982, is Canada’s only
private sector, member-driven, non-profit national business association dedicated
to the growth of trade, investment and services between Canada and India. This is
achieved through various activities undertaken by the Council every year. They assist
Canadian Companies in India, and Indian Companies in Canada. As “Canada’s Business
Link to India”, the Council wants to support companies to help develop business
linkages leading to your success in India, to promote your corporate profile, to
be the voice of business with respect to Canada-India economic relations, and to
ensure that you participate in valuable business development initiatives.
 Canada China Business Council
(CCBC):
The Canada China Business Council (CCBC) is the country’s Canada-China bilateral
trade and investment facilitator, catalyst and advocate, bringing more than three
decades of experience and business relationship building to its members. A private,
not-for-profit business association, CCBC is dedicated to building its members’
business success in China and Canada by offering unmatched business service and
support. From direct operational support in China to trade and investment advocacy
on its members’ behalf, CCBC is a vital resource in enhancing Canada-China bilateral
trade and investment and in building prosperity for Canadians through enhanced Sino-Canadian
business.
 Foreign Affairs and International Trade Canada (DFAIT):
For 100 years, DFAIT has shaped this voice for Canada. Since its modest beginnings as a registry office above a barbershop in downtown Ottawa, DFAIT has been the federal government department whose overall objective has been to defend and promote Canada’s interests throughout the world, guided by our fundamental principles of freedom, democracy, human rights and the rule of law. Their officers are negotiators, advocates and mediators working in support of Canada’s interests and values. Through sustained action on important global issues, DFAIT strives for excellence as part of Canada’s public service, advancing the government’s international priorities. In short, they deal with any global issue that can affect Canada and which the federal government has deemed a priority.
 Canadian Bureau for International
Education (CBIE):
CBIE is a unique organization in Canada. Among the major national organizations,
only CBIE covers the spectrum of Canadian education, from K-12 to postgraduate,
public and private sectors. CBIE, exclusively among national organizations, is dedicated
to international education. CBIE has been a leader in this field for over 40 years,
making Canada’s mark in the world of international training and learning and achieving
hugely beneficial linkages for Canada and its partner countries.
 Association of Universities and Colleges of Canada (AUCC)
The Association of Universities and Colleges of Canada is the voice of Canada's universities. They represent 94 Canadian public and private not-for-profit universities and university-degree level colleges. Since 1911, they have provided strong and effective representation for their members, in Canada and abroad. Their mandate is to facilitate the development of public policy on higher education and to encourage cooperation among universities and governments, industry, communities, and institutions in other countries. They provide services to member universities in three main areas (1) public policy and advocacy (2)communications, research and information-sharing (3)scholarships and international programs.
 Association of Canadian Community
Colleges:
The Association of Canadian Community Colleges (ACCC) is the national,
voluntary membership organization created in 1972 to represent colleges and institutes
to government, business and industry, both in Canada and internationally. With and
Ottawa based secretariat, the ACCC interacts with federal departments and agencies
on its members behalf and links college capabilities to national industries. ACCC
also organized conferences and workshops for college staff students and board members
to facilitate networking and participation in national and international activities
such as sector studies, award programs and linkages.

 Shastri Indo-Canadian Institute
The Shastri Indo-Canadian Institute is a binational organization that promotes understanding
between India and Canada through academic activities and exchanges. Their broad-based
initiatives support the creation of binational links between academia, government,
the business community and civil society organizations by funding research and hosting
seminars. Their internships and fellowships provide opportunities for individuals
to gain first-hand experience in India or Canada. In addition, their book and journal
programme provides valuable resources to students and faculty at their member universities.
 Blakes

 Ontario Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities
Ontario’s Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities helps students get their
education and training so as to build a rewarding career after high school. Presently
there are 19 public Universities and 25 public Colleges in Ontario. Through Employment
Ontario, which is it’s employment and training network, they also help students
build their career and keep learning. Employment Ontario connects people looking
for work with employers looking for workers. MTCU is responsible for:
- developing policy directions for universities and colleges of applied arts and technology
- planning and administering policies related to basic and applied research in this
sector
- authorizing universities to grant degrees
- distributing funds allocated by the provincial legislature to colleges and universities
- providing financial-assistance programs for postsecondary school students

 International Center for Education
ICE: A premier education event organizer since 2003 has been involved
in leading education delegations to India and the Middle East, organizing recruiting
fairs and consulting Canadian institutions in their ‘internationalization’ efforts.
ICE was incorporated in Canada in 2003 to provide a one-stop shop to institutions
for all their educational needs and services. ICE is a network of resources where
institutions can receive up to date information on post secondary and professional
educational opportunities globally from experienced professionals. The President
of ICE is also the founding Chair of the Education Committee within the C-IBC and
has led the Synergy I, Synergy II and ‘Ed-Mission’ initiatives.
