Schools to be Visited
The names of the schools visited will be released only to confirmed participants. The following is a brief description of the schools we will visit.

Delhi
School-I
This school is an international school for approximately 2,000 Students from Pre Nursery to Grade 12. The medium of instruction is English and the curriculum includes the Primary Years and Diploma Programmes of the International Baccalaureate Organization of Geneva and the International General Certificate for Secondary Education of the University of Cambridge, England. The graduates are well prepared for entry into degree courses in international universities and colleges. While preserving the best in traditional Indian and International education and culture, they have opted for a student-centered education system with ample opportunities for project work and discovery learning, guided by a well-qualified international teaching faculty with generous access to quality in service training both in India and abroad.

School-II
This school is located in the heart of the diplomatic community of New Delhi. With a campus that is spread over twelve acres the high school is currently being expanded to accommodate additional students. This school has a strong international character. Although about 35 per cent of their 1473 students are Americans, the majority of their students represent 53 other nationalities. Their mission statement and strategic objectives call for students to become community contributors as well as passionate learners and to empower students to pursue their unique qualities and aspirations. This school is truly a place where students are nurtured and cherished.

School-III
Reception through Year 9 follows the National Curriculum of England, with suitable adaptations to take into account their location in New Delhi. Students in Year 10 and 11 have a wide range of IGCSE / GCSE options to choose from, and Years 12 and 13 prepare for the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme . Almost all students graduate to college/university on graduating, chiefly to the UK, the US and Canada. The school is accredited by the Council of International Schools (CIS) and is an IB World school. This school provides a student -centred education in a stimulating, multicultural environment, which gives each student the opportunity and freedom for the fullest possible development as a whole person prepared for life. Its concern is for the student's intellectual, physical, moral, spiritual, creative and social development. This is realized through a wide range of opportunities and challenges free of gender bias in which the development of fundamental skills goes hand in hand with the freedom to explore and create. The English Curriculum, IB Diploma and the international nature of the community gives all students a global perspective, nurturing a respect for all people, cultures and religions.

School-IV
This school is connected to a family of 126 schools both in India and abroad and is the nation's largest collaborator of national and international educational enterprise. This school was started mainly to cater to the demand for an international education, required for both Indian citizens and foreign diplomats, expatriates, NRI and those working in Indo-foreign concerns. Their motto is to prepare children to become self reliant, productive individuals with clarity, precision and independence and to inspire children to embrace challenge and find joy and self worth through achievement.

School-V
This School boasts of 1863 students with a sprawling campus set against an idyllic landscape of 12.5 acres. Their vision includes not only academic success but all-round development of each student with a wider focus on preparing them for tomorrow's global challenges. They believe that learning is a lifelong voyage of self-discovery and understanding of the world. All activities within the classroom or outside aim at nurturing creativity; fostering observation, inquiry and critical reflection; building confidence and self-esteem; shaping character and inculcating abiding values of tolerance and compassion; and appreciating diversity and internationalism.

School-VI
This school has a current enrollment of 1257 students and a campus that spreads over eight acres accompanied by fully equipped Science and Computer laboratories. While high academic achievement is a priority, the school aims to create a 'community' of well rounded individuals, where a spirit of cooperation and mutual respect exists among the students and teachers. A number of this schools students have been given the merit award, which is given to students who are placed in the top 0.1 % of the candidates who appeared in the final examination nationwide. Many of this schools students have gone on study at the University of Waterloo, University of York, University of Toronto and the University of Windsor.

Mumbai
School-VII
This school is committed to offer its students International Curriculum, International Certification and Indian ethos through the Research, Rationalization and Reflection. The school curriculum is designed to help each child to reach his/her full potential by providing a wide general education, encouraging community spirit & a sense of responsibility. School-VIII
Established in 1989 and inaugurated by the Vice President of India this junior college has become synonymous with excellence in education. Right from its inception, this College has grown from strength to strength as the results testify year after year. In its short 19 year history this college has already produced many toppers and merit rankers. Even though they are a young college they pride themselves with the fact that they have been awarded the ISO Certificate and NAAC Accreditation. Their pursuit of excellence has added to their academic stature and the College is among the leading educational institutions in Mumbai today.

School-XI
This institute is a professional media centre which offers a variety of services in training and production. By virtue of its course offerings and enrolments, this school ranks among the biggest non-government media centers in Asia. This institution was started in 1969 when the need to develop scholarship and professionalism in the media was identified. It is presently managed by the Society of Jesus (Jesuits) of the Bombay and in keeping with the Jesuit reputation for excellence, the education here focuses on the whole person in preparation not only for a career but for life.

School-X
This high-school/college was established in 1937 and is affiliated to University of Mumbai. It enjoys the reputation of being one of the finest institutions of learning in the country. Its outstanding performance in the field of curricular and extra-curricular activities has considerably enhanced its prestige and brought it substantial financial grants from the University Grants Commission, CSIR and other bodies.

School-XI
This school proudly delivers a dynamic educational program that encourages each student to achieve her or his highest potential. It is an international school in an Indian setting with a multi-national community, representing over 51 countries. It brings together students who have varied experiences to learn in a rich and unique environment. As an International Baccalaureate World School; their PYP, Middle School, Pre-IB, and IB Diploma program perfectly complement an international Curriculum. Most of their students go on to some of the top universities worldwide.

School-XII
This institution is unique in that it is not just one school, but a cohesive community of three schools. It is also a private university established by the State Government. Founded in association with The Southern New Hampshire University (SNHU), USA its curriculum and academic standards & pedagogy are formed on the foundation of the Southern New Hampshire University. In the years since, this Institute has expanded its collaborations to include distinguished Universities across Europe and Asia and includes evolving academic programs of International repute.

School-XIII
This school is dedicated to providing academic excellence and realizes every student's potential, both inside and outside the classroom and is authorized to offer the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Program, Middle Years Program and Diploma Program. It has also obtained authorization to offer the International General Certificate for Secondary Education (IGCSE) from the University of Cambridge International Examinations Syndicate. Located in the suburbs of Mumbai it caters to the diplomatic and consular corps, multi-national companies and the expatriate community living in Mumbai.

Pune
School-XIV
This School for boys founded in 1867 is recognized by the Government of Maharashtra. It prepares students for the Secondary School Certificate Examination (Grade X) and for the Higher Secondary Certificate examination (Grade XII). Thousands of young people, belonging to every social class, community and linguistic group, are educated here through the medium of both English and regional languages. The education in this school is geared towards helping the students become mature, spiritually oriented men of character, free from egoism, self seeking and away from all attempts to exploit one's fellowmen and women.

School-XV
This school believes in fostering in students a strong academic and moral excellence and ensuring quality education through the execution of optimum professional practices in curriculum development, analysis, instruction and staff development. This school is proud to have upheld the tradition of “Quality Education” with moral values in today’s ever changing world scenario. Their mission is to prepare their students to be global citizens who are aware of the local needs and are also sensitive to world issues. Through community service in their curriculum via regular visits to villages and orphanages they build citizens who are committed to serving humanity. The ICSE & ISC Curriculum are both offered here.

School-XVI
Located on the outskirts of Pune in a region with pleasant climate throughout the year it caters to the growing needs of the expatriate community in India as well as financially affluent Indian citizens. They provide an international standard of education which also celebrates the positive elements of the host country. With a richly diverse international community and a low student-teacher ratio, the essential spirit of this school is to provide a supportive atmosphere which challenges students to excel. Their belief is in an education that stimulates intellectual curiosity, critical thinking and problem solving by allowing students to be continually challenged at an appropriate level. The curriculum is structured in a way that enables students to become independent, well-balanced, active & caring members of society.

School-XVII
This 75 year old institution educates over 2500 students a year at the HS & Junior College level. Affiliated to the leader of quality foreign education, the University of Cambridge in the UK, they are certified to conduct the IGCSE and A-Level Courses. Classes are taught by highly qualified staff trained by Cambridge and led by an administration comprising of eminent academicians. For effective teaching and learning their classes will not usually exceed 20 students and their students are respected worldwide who go on to attend Universities in Canada, the UK, the US and Europe.

School-XVIII
Situated in the pristine expanse of a natural and pristine countryside, this International institution dovetails the best facilities with the most advanced learning systems and teaching methodologies. Dubai
School-XIX
This school caters to students right from their kindergarten all the way to their IB Diploma. They offer a rigorous curriculum and a rich language program in an international setting based on the 3 prestigious programs from the Geneva-based International Baccalaureate – Primary Years Programme (PYP), Middle Years Programme (MYP) and Diploma Program (DP). In fact, they were the first school in the U.A.E authorized by the International Baccalaureate to offer the full continuum of the IB curriculum. As of September 2008 they have over 1650 students from over 70 countries and 220 faculty/staff from over 30 countries.

School-XX
This school is an independent, not for profit organization and offers what is best about American education in order to provide an educational experience designed to promote the maximum potential for its students. The curriculum is designed to challenge and assist students become intellectually adept, thoughtful and ethical contributors to a global society. It was established 40 years ago to serve the needs of North American families and other expatriate populations of Dubai. It is the first American curriculum school established in Dubai and to this day, they are the only non-profit American school located in the Emirate.
School XXI
Founded in 1961 this school is recognized by the Ministry of Education, Dubai and permanently affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education in New Delhi. At the high-school level the students here are offered a specialization in Science, Commerce or Arts. The school primarily caters to the expatriate Indian population living in Dubai.

School-XXII
This school distinguishes itself by following the British curriculum and is also proud to be the first Boarding school in the Middle-East. It advocates a ‘hands-on’ approach to education, supported by a wide variety of extra-curricular activities. With 450 years of tradition this School offers the National Curriculum for England and the International Baccalaureate Diploma, preparing students to meet the rigors of university education later in life.
